After the Saturday first multi-sports race, the hamlet of “La Vega” welcomes all participants for the prizes ceremony and to celebrate with the community in this unique location!

After the Rio Verde Rafting activities, the festival invites all the public to gather and dance to celebrate the Samaná river!! More info coming soon!

This is the highlights of the week-end. During the day, enjoy the river, the beach and the waterfalls, while watching the best kayaker in the world race. In the evening, the comunity will present a parade in honor of the river.

Why should I take part
A free celebration
Keep the river free flowing
From its beginnings as a community celebration of the last clean and free river in Antioquia, to last year’s event, which had more than 2,500 attendees and the support of international music stars “Puerto Candelaria”, the Samaná Fest has always maintained its focus on two clear objectives:
– Guarantee that the Samaná River continues to flow freely from its source to its mouth at the Magdalena River
– Connect residents previously displaced by violence with sustainable and positive solutions to develop their economy and livelihood.
The Last river!
At its core, the festival has always been about protecting the river and sharing its beauty through adventure, sports, kayaking, culture and music. The event involves renowned artists, chilling areas, food stands, river access and a camping area. During the day, participants will also be able to sign up for different activities related to the river and the community. Activities for children and extreme sports demonstrations, as well as traditional dances and shows liven up the day.
